It has been reported by Sky News that the talented singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home in North London. The cause of her death is still unknown at this stage of the investigation. A police spokesperson informed us: “Inquiries continue into the circumstances of the death at this early stage. It is being treated as unexplained”.
Just to give a brief background of the songstress, Amy was born on September 14th 1983, to a Jewish family with a history of jazz musicians. She was discovered by soul singer Tyler James and released  her debut album Frank in 2003. Her second album Back to Black was released in October 2006 and spawned the hit Rehab which was critically acclaimed. 
This is another loss to music and she is definately going to be missed. Her presence in music was phenominal and may she rest in peace.
